“ First of all, get yourself a pitcher of Lemonade, it’s the very best in the area. I ordered Sierra Mackerel grilled, with Coco rice, patacones and a salad. The Sierra is a long fish enough fish for 2 days for me. Everyone is very nice there. It’s a 5 star for me. I always go there at least 3 times in 2 weeks. When we were there we setup a Palomino Beach day trip, which included breakfast and Lunch. First all wake up early eat a good breakfast because the breakfast that is included is just a arepa with egg inside or arepa with cheese inside or a small long piece of bread with melted cheese inside. Plus you got a natural juice. The trip guide met us at our apartment and then we walked to a large air conditioned bus. On our way into the mountain our guide joked around with us and explained the day trip. After the breakfast we continued our way to our main destination Palomino Beach. When we arrived our guide stated that we need to walk 30 minutes in the heat to our meetup area or we can pay to have a motorcycle ride (that would be a extra cost). More or less he told us to follow the trail an that was it. Motorcyclist drivers were very rude to us. Also there was a large pickup ATV also. We had to ask for help many times on our way there. There was no guide with us, he took a motorcycle ride there. We arrived at the restaurant / meetup area, a person from the restaurant sat down with each family group explain lunch options. Now to get to the beach you had wade across a river to a sandy beach an than walk another distance to the beach area. When we arrived we didn’t see not even one family from the bus. Our guide stayed back at the meetup area and slept. We only had 1 hour of beach time before lunch. Lunch was not the best, with many dogs and cats begging for food. Don’t get the chicken or meat. It’s like chewing on a shoe sole ( I never chewed on a shoe sole). And again the trip guide was useless for me. He got paid and that was it. The bus ride back was relaxing and very cool. I was very happy when we got back. So be aware of the trips being sold here. ”
“ Never tried the food. Just went for cocktails at sunset. The staff is super super accommodating and kind. Go above and beyond. Also ended up booking a day trip for minca through them which was super well priced and very well done. The tour was exactly as promised and a lot of fun (and delicious food) Head here for a sunset cocktail or book a tour through them. ”
“ They are known for casuelas de mariscos and fish plates. Got the casuela de mariscos; It was good but not the best. Their lemonade was very tasty and refreshing. Their patacon was different than what im used to. I prefer it deep fried; theirs was not. The service was ok. Their main concern is to get people in their establishment. I would definitely try again overall I say check it out. ”
